I bought two of these to experiment before replacing about 90 bulbs.

I am satisfied with the color temperature. They are not "Cool", but are not as "Warm" as tungsten bulbs.

The biggest issue is that they take about 1 second to turn on after the switch is flipped. I left one tungsten on the circuit that comes on immediately, then 1 sec on later, the other two come on. This is annoying.

I had tried a Sylvania bulb at the same time. It didn't have the startup delay at all. The color was a little warmer. I had thought that I would use these instead of the item reviewed. After a day or two, however, the Sylvania bulb started pulsing on/off at about a two second interval. It is obviously defective and going back to the home improvement center for replacement. I will try another of those.

I find the reviewed product pretty good, but the startup delay makes it unsuitable for many of my needs.

I bought a pair of these LED floodlights for my newly installed, outdoor, downward-pointing metal fixtures located on both sides of my garage door. Unlike earlier LED floodlights I purchased, these are very bright and uniform. They produce what looks like incandescent light (unlike the CFLs which produce a noticeably harsher cool white light). They turn on at full brightness, even in cold weather. Unlike another reviewer, I have not noticed a delay before they go on, but my switches are indoors so a delay of a fraction of a second wouldn't be noticeable to me. These floodlights appear to me to be at least as bright as a 60 watt incandescent floodlight, but they use only 12 watts, which is less than the 14 watt CFLs they replaced. LED floodlights have finally come of age!

Got these for my garage and they perform very well. There is a slight lag after you throw the switch, I'd guess around a half second, but they come on at full brightness. You get used to the delay quickly and it isn't a concern. I live in the northeast and some winter mornings are both dark and very cold. I had been using CFLs in the garage and it would take them nearly half an hr. to come up to full brightness - these are immediate. They are also bright enough that two in a high (16 ft.) ceiling give enough illumination that I can use my workbench in the garage at night for basic tasks without needing additional light. Gave 4 instead of 5 due to the delay - but I'd give 4.5 if possible since that's not a big deal.
