Bought these bulbs in lieu of the much more expensive GE bulbs. These are no name bulbs with no hint of their origin. S11 bulbs are an odd 'size' and generally difficult to locate. The ones I have purchased in the past have had very short lifespans. None of these have failed yet, but they have been in use for a very short time. Shipping took about two weeks. They arrived via US Snail Mail, were well packaged with no damage. All that remains is to see how long they last.

Update April 1, 2012: First three bulbs have been in use for six months. They have been used every day for 5+ hours. No failures yet.

I wondered if these would work as well as the MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE GE bulbs available locally.
In short, they work. I bought 5 for the price of one in a local store. I would buy again if needed.
Shipping was prompt and packaging was secure. They all got here with no damage.
What's not to like?

Either my lamp was broken or the bulb is the issue. I bought this to replace the bulb in my desk lamp, The bump did not fit securely. I eventually threw the lamp out. I think there were issues with lamp not holding the bulb securely not the bulb.
