The advantage of 130 volt products is that they protect the incandescent filaments from power spikes (the source of most incandescent bulb failures). 130 volt bulbs are slightly less bright than 120 volt, but offer substantially longer life.

not very bright for a 60w, but it you are looking for low lighting, than this is a great buy.

I thought this sounded like a good idea when I heard about the benefits on The Dr. Oz show. I tried the orange bulb in my bedroom but it's not bright enough to read by and I don't have any other lamps to use it in. So.... For me it was a waste of $.
