This is a great looking light, but at 60 watts, it's a little too bright to appreciate the vintage appearance. If it were dimmer (say a 40W), you might be able to enjoy the old-style filament design, but at 60W, it's just too bright to look at. However, if you need a very bright vintage bulb, this should do the trick.

This is a very nice version of a classic Edison bulb. It is quite large, much larger than anticipated, with glass almost 5" inches tall! A beautiful bulb!
