Bulb burned out after only 3 weeks. Worked fine until it didn't. Lamp used the previous bulb for 2 years. Has been on the replacement I got from Home Depot for 3 months.

The original bulb in this lamp lasted for 10 years, yet this one dimmed (blackened inside the glass tube) making it unusable after about 11 months.

Purchased 2 of these for a torch lamp. The first one burnt out on the 2nd power-up. The second worked, but after several month it dimmed substantially (the bulb glass is heavily glossed over inside with soot).
