I use these bulbs all around my apartment and love them. They are bright and last as long as advertised. If you prefer the feel of incandescent bulbs, you may not like this bulb as it does produce the really white light, not the yellowish light. I looked at a few stores around me and equivalent bulbs were selling for 20-50% more than on amazon.com.
