Comment: I ordered a Verlux natural daylight bulb. You sent me an alernate bulb like it, but it didn't fit my lamp. I returned it and am to be refunded on my credit card.

Comment: I love this seller. I actually had my lamp on the way to the trash bin when I thought, well, give a try to getting the bulb. May work, may not, so I started looking. I believe this was the only bulb on the internet that was described by the seller so perfectly that I had to have it. I thought I would have to dig into my bag of gold to get it, but it was so reasonable. I received it and slipped it right in, held my breath and turned it on. Wallah! Works so great. Thanks!

Comment: Worked well. Fit perfectly. Does what it is supposed to do. No complaints here.

Comment: I bought this FML27 bulb for my Sharper Image "Bright as Day" lamp and it does work in that lamp. The lamp has a dimming feature, but the Eiko bulb doesn't do a good job with this - it will dim somewhat and then go out at lower settings. As I never used the dim feature, it did not matter to me. The light from the bulb is fine and matches that of the original that Sharper Image provided.

I can't yet comment on longevity - if I find it dies early, I will update this review.

I will note that, after I ordered this, I saw an equivalent FML27 bulb at a local "big box" home improvement store.

Comment: Being frugal, I chose the $9.95 Eiko over the Verilux at $19.95. It was dead on arrival. Ordered the Verilux and it just arrived and is working fine.

Don't waste your time on this one.
