This type of bulb was not easy to find. Glad I found it on Amazon. Good price and good bulb. I use it daily on a gooseneck desk lamp hasn't burned out yet.

When the bulb in my lava lamp burned out, I had a hard time finding a replacement bulb. I ordered this bulb through Amazon, hoping it would fit. It does fit, and the lava lamp is running fine again. This bulb seems to run a bit hotter than the original lava lamp bulb (which may have been a 25w bulb -- I couldn't read the markings); the extra heat actually seems to make the lamp work a bit better than before.

When I ordered this item, it was quickly deliver to me. The Feit Electric BP40S11N 40 watt light-bulb fits perfectly into my desk lamp and showcases a true clear light that radiates the the desk in my dorm room very good. So I would say, if someone needed a 40 watt S11 light-bulb for a desk lamp, go with this one. It does the job of a light-bulb.
