I bought 10 of these to replace incandescent lamps in two 5 lamp chandeliers in my parent's apartment. They are significantly whiter and brighter than the very yellow light of the old bulbs, which is much appreciated by my 88 year old mother and 90 year old father. In my opinion these are worth the price.

MY 91 YEAR OLD MOTHER USES THIS LAMP TO HELP HER SEW. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IT, EVEN ON GE'S WEB SITE. MUCH, MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE STANDARD T10 LAMP.

The GE 60 watt halogen light bulb lasted 8 days. I have had very bad experiences with GE lighting products, I will avoid their products in the future.
