Summary: Slow warmup, good light 2008-10-29
Comment: My first impression of this light is that it warms up VERY slowly. It takes over 60 seconds before it puts out usable light. After that warm-up period, light output is very good, comparable with a 120watt MISER halogen flood. Perhaps the color is a bit more blueish, but that's subtle and subjective. Overall, after one week, I'm happy with the light, but I find myself leaving it on more than I should because it is so slow to restart once I turn it off.

Summary: Two shipments arrived broken 2008-08-17
Comment: In two successive shipments, two out of three bulbs arrived broken. Finally gave up and requested a refund. Do they work? I don't know! But if you want to find out, buy 'em locally.

Summary: Unbelievable Warm White and Bright! 2008-02-29
Comment: At first I was skeptical, but when I put this CFL flood into my outdoor lighting, I was truly amazed! The lumens are higher than the halogens I previously used. I'm looking forward to the lower energy costs and longer life these will bring. At $7-8, they are a bargain. I'm going to use them in all my outdoor lighting. Try one. You'll be convinced!

Summary: Great Green Solution 2007-11-18
Comment: These are great for outdoor use. Hard to find a CF that has a cold weather balast, but these seem to. They take a few seconds to warm up and get fully bright, but it doesn't bother me. I use them in the flood lights that light up the back yard. They replaced 120 watt standard flood lights and you really can't tell the difference. Great energy saver, and that makes me feel better leaving the lights on at night for security.
