These bulbs make things in the refrigerator look much more appealing. It's hard to describe how much an improvement these lights are. I love them.

I ordered two of these bulbs for use in a new range hood. I generally prefer the GE "Reveal" bulbs in lamps, so why not in my kitchen? Well, at first I balked at the price -- at the time the Reveal bulbs were 6x more expensive than regular bulbs. But I went ahead and bought them anyway, because what the heck.
Well...I wish I had just gotten the $1 regular bulbs. I can't tell any difference in these Reveal bulbs, particularly as they're behind a frosted plastic cover (that's my bad, not GE's).
Perhaps for some applications (like in a refrigerator?) these would really make things look better, but in my kitchen, for my money, I would just get a standard, cheaper, bulb. I certainly will next time.

Perfect fit,

This bulb is a perfect fit for my 30 year old Hotpoint refrigerator, and it seems brighter than the original.
