I've been using these bulbs for several months with no problem. They've lasted over 3 months now with constant use in five of our lamps. The color quality is excellent and 60 watts gives a very bright light for reading. I bought on Amazon because I could only find the 40 Watt variety at Lowes. We're very happy with these 60 Watt bulbs.

We purchased a home on 29th September 2009. Approximately a month later we replaced the chandelier in our living room with one that takes T10 bulbs. At that time we purchased 6 these GE bulbs from Lowe's to put in the light fixture. We have had to replace 3 of these bulbs to date. One after about a month of use, then about a one a month since then. We have owned our house for four and a half months now and replaced 3 bulbs. Since the original bulbs were the Clear 60 watt Soft White T10 bulbs, we have since switched to the 40 Watt Frosted T10 Bulbs 90904, None of these have burned out yet, but they have been in about a month less each.

First, I had to order 10 bulbs vs. only 8 I needed. When package came, one bulb was already broken in the package. One bulb blew out as soon as I plugged it in and turn lights on. So, now I have 8 bulbs that I needed. Within one hour of turning lights on two more bulbs blew out. I am totally disappointed with this product. I don't know if GE really looks at this kinds of feedback or not. But, I got really bad products for paying premium. I wish Amazon does something about it if they want to maintain their reputation of great customer service.
