I really like them a LOT... but if you ask me, I think GE makes Reveal bulbs destined for shorter than average life span. Kind of like General Motors "planned obsolescence". In 4 years or so, the newer and oh-so-cooler model will attract you to buy a new car. Besides, after 4 years in most cases, GM vehicles were beginning to fall apart. Because of my experience with Reveal standard screw-in Edison base bulbs, I have purchased two spares of the GU-10s (new fixture in bathroom), anticipating burn out in less than a year. Fortunately, light bulbs cost a lot less than cars, so premature failure does not derail my life like vehicle failure would. Despite my suspicion that these GU-10 bulbs will fail before Labor Day (today is June 1st), I just really enjoy the spectrum of Reveal bulbs.
