GE 82143-6 50-Watt Reveal with Halogen Floodlight GU10 Light Bulb, 6-Pack

This arrived quickly and was over-packed with lots of wasted packing material, but everything was well protected. The bulbs are a pinker color than normal halogens, and when you replace just one in a row of six, the pink bulb stands out unattractively. But when you replace all six bulbs, the room is filled with a pleasant, less harsh light. I like it a lot. So I removed a star for all the wasted packaging, but otherwise these are great.

It's true that all bulbs in a track light will need to be replaced. Using this as a complaint is silly. The lighting effect produced by the bulbs is unsurpassed. The light is also much gentler on the eyes. At this point in my career they are used exclusively for the illumination of my various glass art projects.

We bought these as replacement bulbs for our track light system that we bought at lowes. You would think that all of these bulbs are just plain ole white halogen. Not true. These bulbs had a pink/purple hue to them and looked completely off when lit next to the other bulbs. Don't buy these unless you want to replace ALL your bulbs to match these.
