Easy Bake ovens require a 100W bulb that is not soft white or long life. I can't find one in the grocery store or Home Depot. This bulb fits the bill and is available with PRIME shipping. My daughters first Easy Bake died after 2 uses, presumably because we used soft white, long life bulbs.

I use these bulbs in some fixtures where the bulb is visible. The crystal clear glass gives a nice look vs. frosted glass. (funny how clear bulbs are more expensive than frosted ones, eh?)

Thanks to the federal government, these bulbs can no longer be manufactured or imported into the US starting Jan 1st, 2012. I have bought literally hundreds of these so I have a lifetime supply.

Take note that these are the standard 120V 750 hour bulbs that produce a brilliant 1720 lumens of light output. Any bulb that is labeled "long life" or "commercial" will either be rated for 130V and will have reduced brightness at 120V - or it will be a 120V bulb with reduced light output for longer life.

I like and need the brilliant light from these bulbs. CFL's are dim and they look horrible in the fixtures. Same goes for LED bulbs. In some fixtures, the clear incandescent bulb is prominently on display and there is no acceptable substitute for the incandescent...Read more
