Ferrowatt 1910N - 1910 Antique Replica Light Bulb, 60 Watt, 120 Volt

I just bought this bulb at a local store, and paid dearly for supporting my local store as well... I was really excited to see edison-style bulbs in the shop and paid the almost double the amazon price to take it home. Apparently, the ferrowatt brand, originally Austrian, has been resurrected by AAMSCO lighting, a South Carolina Based company.

According to the box, the product is made in China. I opened the boxes to have a look at the filaments, and was slightly dismayed to see that the filament seemed inconsistently hung from bulb to bulb. it was looped some what haphazardly around the eye in the electrodes, and there were obvious differences in the tension of the supports from piece to piece. I have read that actual antique bulbs have burned for many times longer that we expect our current bulb to last.
