Summary: Buy it for its uniqueness 2008-02-08
Comment: VERY heavy bulb - tipped over the goose-neck lamp i tried to use it in. GOOD subtle lighting though - and not as "hot" as most halogens. nope you won't find this "cut-glass" type in the home improvement stores so get it for its looks and productivity. as far as price goes, it's a wee bit less expensive than buying 2- or 3-packs at HomeyDepot. works GREAT on winter-light-deprived inside plants!
