Lamps shipped were cool, not warm as ordered. These are not 9 watts, as advertised. They were very dim, about like a flashlight, so I measured the power input, which was 4.5 watts. Probably, only 3.5 watts (not 9) was getting to the bulbs, as 4.5% would require 100% efficiency of the internal electronics. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I bought two of these bulbs and one I found at Home Depot. These bulbs are brighter, smaller and their light shines out the back similar to a GU10 50W standard bulb. While the color is not the exact same as a hologen, more white, it is quite close. I have been shopping/sampling bulbs since LED were introduced and these are one of the better ones I have found. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Tyron "v3battleangel" (Redmond, Washington) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) When I first started using these lights, the color was really, really yellow; a bit too much. After using them for a few days, I've noticed the yellow color has faded slightly and the light is perfect, slightly warm color. They aren't too warm, about 3500K, leaning more towards white than yellow. I tried other GU10 LED bulbs from Philips and others, but these are the only ones that fit and the brightest I've seen. The silver part sticks out further than standard bulbs, but it provides a great high-tech look. They also seem to stay very cool, only getting slightly hot after about an hour.Only 9 watts means tremendous power savings and an extremly bright LED! I replaced 5x75 watt lights with these for a total power savings of 330 watts. The color is slightly different than halogens, emitting a subtle yellow color but slightly more white; they are just as bright as the 75w lights. I can't speak to the longevity as I just installed them about a week back. I will...Read more |
