LED bulbs provide great energy savings and often pay for themselves in less than a year. The true life of an LED bulb ranges from 10,000 to 50,000 hours depending on application and fixture. The color bulbs are wonderful for accent lighting and adding decor to any environment. NOTE: LED bulbs are not compatible with conventional dimmers. Also, LED bulbs do not have quite the same brightness as the power-hungry 50W or 100W bulbs that may currently be in your fixtures. You will have less light if replacing such bulbs with LED bulbs. Although this 120 LED bulb rivals many large flood lights.

Summary: Lousy customer service. 2008-09-13
Comment: I bought this looking at the picture which is white. The bulb the came was not even close to a blue light, it is a deep blue color.
I bought this on Amazon from CYRON, Inc. I called up "Shell" to get it resolved. He said, "If I would pay to ship it back, he would send the white bulb."
Five days later, he tells me he didn't get the bulb and he needed my credit card. My wife told him the tracking number and how he had already received it. He then said he needed a credit card number and would have to charge a re-stocking fee and another shipping fee.
I wouldn't trust this business man. Beware.
Now today, I get an email from the company still wanting my credit card in spite of me wanting to get my money back. This company doesn't stop.

Summary: solid led bulb 2008-03-29
Comment: This is a solid and true blue led bulb. I have nothing to compare this to except with a incandescent bulb. This bulb is heavier than an incandescent bulb. I cannot compare the brightness accurately as I do not have a different blue bulb, but what I can say is that I can't look directly at the incandescent bulb at all, but I can look directly at the blue led bulb for two or three seconds, and thats it. It's quite bright, and indeed very cool-running, unlike the incandescent.
