Summary: Know What You Are Buying 2008-12-24
Comment: When I bought my new Superior Floor Lamp for Sewing & Scrapbooking - Nickel, I broke the fluorescent bulb (this one). It is extremely fragile. In fact, today, I just bought my third bulb in two weeks. Now the Superior Lamp is fantastic and looks great, but I would highly recommend you see this light while it is lit and working. It's good for reading and fine handcrafts, but I personally find the light unnatural and obtrusive. The florescent is much more than you would get with a regular florescent blub - much bluer. With four prongs of bulbs, there is a lot of light as well. I was unable to find a bulb with only two prongs. The questions remaining are; is the light comfortable for your eyes and your purpose and is your lamp in a stable enough position that it won't fall over. As I stated, this is a fragile (but not terribly expensive) bulb. It will suit some people's purposes.

This was for my Sun Light Lamp - Lights of America.
At first, I thought I bought the wrong light bulb, since it was difficult to fit into the slot. Once it fit into the slot, then everything is fine. It will be helpful if it has direction on how to install this light bulb.

Comment: I have two of their Executive Sun Light desk lamps. They're touch lamps. The on-off switch on one broke, but the customer service people replaced it immediately and were very friendly about it on the phone.

Summary: Fluorescent bathroom lamp model 4053 2008-01-30
Comment: I bought 2 of these fluorescent fixtures and installed them in our remodeled bathrooms. Both died after 3.5 year of use. The bulb seems fine so it must be the ballast that gave up. Lights of America products may be cheap but they are real crappy quality products.
