Summary: Short life 2009-01-08
Comment: I have used Maxlite CFLs for several years in various fixtures. The light produced by the bulbs (2700K) has been great. Turn on time to max bright was fine. However, I have been dissapointed with the life of the bulbs. CFLs are advertised at 8000 hours or more. Two bulbs I have replaced in the past 3 months made it 16 and 21 months. Average on time is no more than 3-5 hours day for around 3000 hours bulb life.
