The bulb was a great price and ordered as a 13W. When it came it was a 13W but the package said it was for battery powered task lamp. I hesitated but tried it in a electric lamp for which it ws bought for, and it worked. Who knows for how long. The ad did not specify for battery powered use.

I have had an OttLite for years and years and the tube has just burnt out (it's really worth the money as I haven't had to replace the tube for maybe...5 years, while using my lamp every day!). I contacted the Customer Service who really is the nicest Customer Service I have had to deal with. I really recommend a purchase with this company, they really are reliable!
The tube has just arrived and everything works just fine. I am so glad with my OttLite :)
