Product Description
PureSpectrum 20-Watt (75-Watt incandescent equivalent) dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamp is an Energy Star approved, fully dimmable spiral bulb that is compatible with most brand name dimmers. Combines energy savings and longevity with superior dimming performance. Works in any dimming application where an incandescent bulb would be used. Provides instant illumination and brightness without flickering and features low level instant ignition and illumination. Dims equally well as a stand-alone bulb or in a series and provides more than 1,200 lumens.
Summary: Great Bulbs, not what you expect from a CFL. 2010-03-08
Comment: I picked up some of these bulbs for the "instant on" feature. Other CFLs I have had in the past seem to take a little bit of time to get to their full potential and then give off a different type of light when fully on. I can attest that the Purespectrum CFLs are truly instant on and look just like the incandescent bulbs. The ability to dim (really dim) is icing on the cake. Give them a shot, you won't go back to other CFLs.

Summary: Great product! Worth the money! 2010-03-03
Comment: These are the best CFL bulbs I've used. I've had them for several months in my home. They dim perfectly and give off beautiful light in my kitchen and living room. They are much brighter than the CFL's that had previously. Now if only purespectrum would make the size for my dining room chandelier.

Summary: Best CFL on market! 2010-03-03
Comment: These CFL's are great! I bought two when they first came out because I heard great things about this company and about they're products. The bulbs turn on right away at full brightness, not at half power like some CFL's claiming "instant on" do. They dim perfect all the way down to 5% or so and the best part is I know that I am saving energy and saving money by dimming these CFL's as compared to other dimmable bulbs that don't reduce energy consumption relative to dimming. When PureSpectrum gets more products on the market I'll be sure to replace all my lights with PureSprectrum bulbs.

Summary: We have been using PureSpectrum's 20 Watt Bulb Since Oct 2009 - Excellent!!! 2010-03-02
Comment: We were the first people who purchased few of these bulb from [..]
when it first came out in Oct 2009. Works great since than. It does dims very
low it could be 10% it could be 0% we don't know how to measure. Also, comes
up instantly when you slide the dimmer switch to increase the light.
We would recommend this for energy saving and also for efficiency. One thing
we noticed that it does not heat up so much and I touched it without getting
my hands burnt, I guess because it uses less energy!

Summary: almost perfect - Dimmable but noisy 2010-02-28
Comment: I purchased two of these bulbs for use in living room table lamps. They are very good at dimming and the light output at the lowest dim value is very close to an incandescent. The noise however is a bit annoying. They buzz as soon as you dim them. the buzzing is loud enough that you would not want to sit right next to a dimmed bulb for long.
These would be ideal for lights in ceiling cans that are a fair distance from the ear but not great for a reading chair unless it was full brightness (not that you would dim it for reading). Otherwise the light is great, good color, pretty close to incandescent, I would guess in the 4500K range, a slight green tint but not to bad. My wife (an interior designer) didn't even noticed that the bulbs were changed, which is not true when I've replaced incandescent with cfl in the past, she hates the color of typical cfl lights.
