It's a bulb. What can be said? It got here very quickly and is packaged well so that it didn't break. It's nice to be able to purchase such a bulb rather that loose the flashlight because it doesn't work. Kudos to the shipper and the product.

The stock photo on Amazon displays a F9-W-1. But when you receive it it will be in a different package then shown and identified as a F9W 2G7. Don't panic! It is the right bulb. You may have to fool around with it for a bit to get it properly seated before it lights up. I strongly recommend buying from Denny and Kathy's Superstore. You will have to wait about two weeks before you receive your bulbs but the wait is worth it when you consider the other advantages of buying from Denny and Kathy's. They have the lowest price I have seen for this bulb. And the shipping and handling is great. Do not just buy just one bulb. You will pay 3.34 for postage and handling. I bought four of these and just bought another six. The price is still only $3.34 per order for postage and handling! What a deal. They also come in well protected packaging.

I purchased this bulb for my remote controlled Ray-O-Vac Sportsmans camping lanterns which we use camping and during any home power outages. The original lamp lasted approx. 5 years aand I am very satified with this product. I purchased 2 bulbs as I have 2 lanterns and wanted a back-up.
