When you receive the product. The side of the box says "Do NOT use this lamp in wet or moist environments, or other areas where moisture may accumulate;". That would have be very useful information in the product description.

As the other review said - It's a bulb! Hard to say more but that it came very nicely padded against breakage and it works as a good, yet politically incorrect, incandescant heat lamp. Stand under this sucker for a minute an you too can feel like a french fry.....
