This is the best (as well as now being pretty much the only) pink light bulb. There are many reasons to use a pink bulb, but I'll mention only the most generally useful. If you're not happy with the color you chose to paint a room, or the quality of the light is harsh, or you want your space to feel less like an operating room and more like a cozy retreat, try lighting with pink bulbs. It will change the entire quality of the room, make old shabby furniture look soft and shabby chic, warm up a white wall, make an off-putting space seem strangely inviting. Also, I'd point out that people who are depressed or who find winter difficult will respond extraordinarily well to soft pink light. I guarantee that, if you put these bulbs in only one room, you'll find yourself using that room a lot more than you ordinarily would; you'll pass the door and be drawn in by that warm, inviting light. They cost much less than therapy and aren't as risky as psychotropic drugs - give it a try!

Because the new 2012 Federal law is possibly outlawing this type of light bulb, I'm playing it safe and placing my order on the last day of 2011. Most of the lamps in my home use these pink bulbs, and I don't want to change to something different.

I swear by this product. The light given off is soft and cozy adding to the ambiance. A must have for the home as it accentuates the decor.
