This bulb works great seems brighter than the other one, it works what else can i say. Price lower than the big box stores so I am very pleased with the product.

I have a large light over my driveway that uses these kinds of bulbs. Its about 25 feet up, so while I was doing my roof and had the scaffolding out, I decided to replace the old one since I didn't know how long it had been in (just bought the house 2 years ago). I bought this bulb from Amazon, came on time and as described. Installed light and about 3 weeks later, after very little use, I found glass on my driveway. Looked up to discover the glass around the bulb had somehow shattered. Bulb has a protective cover which is only open from the bottom, so its very unlikely something hit it. Strange thing is that the bulb still worked!! Regardless, I had to pull out the big ladder and put the old bulb back in. It was a real hassle trying to get this broken bulb out of the socket while perched 25 feet up. The old bulb has been going strong for at least 6 months since, so I can only conclude that this bulb is garbage.
