Bought this to replace a Bulbright chrome bulb that burned out after about 2 weeks.

The bulb is great for fixtures where the bottom of the bulb is otherwise visible. We have ours in a fixture above the kitchen table, and the 40W bulb throws off more than enough light.

The packaging was very secure, in a very secure cardboard box and then wrapped in bubble wrap.
