I purchased two cases of these so that the government dictate on incandescent bulds goes into effect. The bulbs have an excellent life span and for our fixtures that use these we didn't want to be forced into the ugly ones our government thinks are so efficient and you have to be so carreful with in disposal. The price at Amazon was the lowest I could find and these aren't the easiest bulbs to locate.
