Summary: is tiny really better? 2008-11-21
Comment: If you like a good night lite that saves energy than this is your product... otherwise they now sell xmas lights as LEDs alot cheaper than this.... or if you dont care living in a room that is like an solar eclipse..... far out man!

Summary: Not worth it for a very low powered night light 2008-09-20
Comment: It gives less light than a very low power night light. Personally, I really don't like the illumination/light provided by led lighting.

Also, after buying I went to my local hardware store that had exceptionally inexpensive led lighting of all kinds subsidized by Southern California Edison.

A plug in night light with a brighter output than this bulb for .49 cents. Screw in CFC (or whatever they are called) florescent bulbs for like a dollar (again local power company subsidized) and not the cheap knock of type found in local dollar stores that only last a short time.

Don't bother with this bulb unless you really need virtually no light for some unimaginable personal reason/use.

Summary: Tiny bulb good for a boat maybe very little light 2008-07-10
Comment: I believe this bulb gives off the same amount of lumens as 1 watt incan. bulb but uses next to no energy.... give off maybe at best the same amount of light as a 2 watt bulb

Summary: Nightlight Only 2008-01-07
Comment: This product is good only for a very dim night light. Nothing more. In my opinion, a little pricey for the amount of light it gives off.

Summary: It was what I was looking for 2007-12-15
Comment: This was what I was looking for, but be mindful of what it is. This 1 Watt LED bulb has the equivalent brigtness of a 7 Watt bulb (and the 3 Watt counterpart is equivalent to a 20 Watt bulb). In my case, I was looking to turn a table lamp into a night light -- hence this brightness is about right (or perhaps a little too bright).
